Improved treatment for patients with hyperthyroidism

Washington D.C. , Jan 29 : According to an evidence review led by researchers, radioactive iodine is to be recommended as the frontline treatment for patients with thyroid gland overactivity caused by conditions such as Graves’ disease. Hyperthyroidism is a condition in which the thyroid gland produces excessive amounts of thyroid hormones.
